I went to junior and high with a bass player named Kermit (yes, that's his real name). I found out on Facebook that he's putting together an interesting and slightly crazy project. He wants everyone he's ever met to get together in one place on the same day. In 2011.
Here's the thing you need to know about Kermit. He was the incredibly smart, fairly annoying nerd. Did he have real friends? I honestly do not know.
It's an interesting response to online social networking sites. Imagine if you could bring together everyone you've ever met and the only way to reach all of them is to rely on the power of the internet and word of mouth.
Fascinating. Will I go? Probably not. But I am curious to see if he follows through with it.

Everybody's name is funny to somebody. I recently heard someone describe an old library employee and they finally said, "Well, she had a really unusual name." Hmmm.... could it be Manya? Bingo!
