How do I deal with working with the public? Bitching, complaining and laughing. It really is the best way to get out the frustration and move on.
That said, here are some of the speech patterns that people use that drive me crazy.
1. Using 'at' at the end of a sentence. Example: "Where you at?"
2. Improper use of the word 'literally'. Example: "My head literally exploded when I heard the news." Um, no it didn't.
3. Throwing up in your own mouth. Where did this one come from? Example: "When I heard the news, I threw up a little in my mouth." It's just gross and I really don't want to hear about your bodily functions.
